The Rio and Harrah’s is jumping on the all you can eat bandwagon, offering a suite and two 24 full-access buffet passes from $60 a night. I went to the Carnival World buffet during my last Vegas vacation (August 2009) and I can honestly say that it is one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. Plenty of high end offerings, including numerous cook stations and crab legs.
The deal works as follows: Book a minimum of three nights. Upon check-in you will be given two vouchers. Take these with you to the cashier at the Carnival World buffet inside the Rio or any Harrah’s chain buffet (Imperial Palace, Bally’s, Paris, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Flamingo, Harrah’s) along with proper photo ID. You will be granted 24 hours of free access at any of these buffets. The 24 hour clock starts once you’ve reached the cashier of the first buffet.
To maximize this deal you could eat at the more expensive locations (Paris, Planet Hollywood or Caesars Palace). Another option is to have your first meal late (around 7pm). The next day go to breakfast and lunch as usual. Then return for dinner around 5pm, thus getting in four meals within the 24 hour time frame.
